After only brief wait after my technical interview, I learned that I had made it into Phase 3 – a panel interview!  I only had a day to prepare, but I am so thankful that I over-prepared.  I had the idea to write out sample responses for any questions I thought they might ask me.  Then I practiced interviewing with Matthew several times, just to get comfortable with my responses.  I haven’t interviewed for anything in almost five years, and I think that bit of extra preparation really helped me feel more confident going into the interview.

Now I am just playing a waiting game to see if I was accepted.  I don’t know if I have ever wanted something the way I want this.  I told Matthew that it would honestly feel as though I won a lottery if I am accepted – to transition fully into a new career in just a year, without going into substantial debt?  And to have the opportunity to live with Jessica in Seattle for a year?  I can’t even fathom that this could be in the realm of possibility right now.  We will see what happens.  I have already decided that I will attempt to apply at least one more time if I’m not accepted through this round.
